There are a lot of agrotechnical requirements for aggregates for pre-sow soil tillage that are rarely fulfilled. This is a comparative study of two aggregates equipped with different working elements in the loosening section. The study evaluates the quality of operation on the basis of the results of the working depth measurements, the thickness of the layer in tillage, leveling of the field surface, lumping and compactness of the soil. The quantity of plants after the sprouting of the winter wheat sugar beet and winter rape have been calculated. The conclusion is that the tillage aggregate U654 equipped with a loosening section with spring teeth ending in a narrow point better prepares the soil for sowing than the aggregate Kompaktor equipped with rigid teeth with broad share.
