Analysis of sawdust briquetting technology

ABSTRACT
Two methods of producing both "normal" briquettes and pellets have been compared. It has been stated that the unit cost of manufacturing sawdust pellets is higher than these normal ones. The main reason of this state is probably applying too energy-consuming machines. That is why manufacturing normal briquettes seems to be more profitable from individual consumer point of view. Financial analysis of the illustrative production line indicating possibility of reducing costs has been carried out.
