ABSTRACT
Global positioning system, (GPS) has many civil applications. One of them is precision agriculture where GPS is applied in soil mapping, and agricultural machinery guidance. This last field of application makes high requirements for precision and reliability for positioning system. In this work the static and dynamic test of one widely applied in precision agriculture receiver AgGPS 132 was made. As the result of this test it was ascertained, that this system provides almost sub-meter repeatability of position measurement without any own reference station, and can be applied in machine guidance in such operations as fertiliser spreading.
