The aim of this paper is to exanimate the possibility of application of the ultrasonic method for evaluation of the degradation of the bond between adhesive coating and substrate. The impulse gain of an ultrasonic wave was used as the basic rate of degradation of the examined bonds. A dependence of the impulse gain of an ultrasonic wave on the quantity of cycles of deforming the sample was obtained which shows the course of the degradation of adhesive bond between epoxy resin EpidianS and steel 50HS.
