ABSTRACT
The paper presents a methodology of selection of wheel self-propelled chassis for sugar beet harvesting instrumentation. The rational policy of steering of the harvester’s driving mechanism and the mechanical/hydraulic drive were considered. Mathematical dependencies of drive parameters were developed.
