Nowadays, we are having many machines on the Polish market to the loading, the transportation and the distributing of bulky feed for animals. One such machine is the universal shredder to bulky feed and to the processing of the biomass on the compost with the precise batcher of components and biologicals. The paper presents results of the analysis of working load (the charge of the energy) used by the universal shredder during cutting out, loading and crumbling the silage from the corn and also the bales of the haylage and straw. The paper contains also the analysis of the shredder work with no load at all. Also analyzed was the torque load on PTO which propels shredder's hydraulic system.
