Computer modelling and simulation of the physical phenomena in shot peening process of cultivator tine

ABSTRACT
This work concerns modeling and numerical simulations of shot peening process of cultivator tine fragment. The application was elaborated in Ansys/LS - Dyna programme to observe physical phenomena in contact zone of tool-work pieces during the simulations time. The researches regarded an influence of the distance of the traces on the deformation and strain state in the surface layer of cultivator tine. Exemplary results of numerical analysis, were presented.
