The paper presents the research station designed and built at Poznan University of Technology, used to study the grain motion in pipes of pneumatic transport. It also presents the results of verification of the accuracy of timing single grain transport in the pneumatic pipe. Analyses of accuracy were made using a digital oscilloscope and a standard pulse generator. The study showed that the relative timing error of grain transport time by pipe with length of 2 m is within 0.001%. This is much superior than required accuracy. This research station is now being used to validate the mathematical models of grain motion in pneumatic pipes of mechanical - pneumatic seed drill.
