Estimation of parametric tools for environmental evaluation in the agro-food sector

ABSTRACT
In the paper, the idea of quantitative description of environmental impacts of different solutions (addresses to the processes, objects as well products) in the agro-food sector is presented. The methods used for this purpose are shown and further its usefulness is evaluated. Then the review of the research directions on LCA in the agro-food sector is done. At the end, the conclusions concerning the conditions needed for broader application of these parametric methods are drawn.
