Peer Review Policy

The "Journal of Research and Applications in Agricultural Engineering" employs a double-blind peer review process to ensure objectivity and fairness in manuscript evaluation. Reviewer identities are concealed from authors and author identities are concealed from reviewers. Manuscripts are stripped of identifying information before review. All submissions undergo the following review process:

Initial Screening
The Editorial Board conducts a preliminary evaluation of submissions. The Board reserves the right to reject manuscripts without detailed review if they:
• fall outside the journal's scope,
• do not meet quality standards,
• present results inappropriately.

Review Process
Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent experts not affiliated with the author's institution. All communication between authors and reviewers is conducted through the Editorial Board. Authors must address reviewer comments before final approval.

Selection of Reviewers
The Editorial Board selects reviewers based on:
• expertise in the manuscript's subject area,
• demonstrated academic achievements,
• professional reputation.

The Editorial Board communicates review outcomes to all relevant parties, including specific comments from both positive and negative reviews.

Conflict of Interest
The Editorial Board ensures:
• no personal or professional relationships between reviewers and authors,
• no direct supervisory relationships,
• no close academic collaboration.

However, in highly specialized fields with limited experts, some flexibility may be permitted.

Confidentiality
Review contents remain confidential until completion. Only Editorial Board has access to review information during the process. All participants must maintain confidentiality regarding privileged information.

Dispute Resolution
Additional reviewers may be appointed for complex cases. All reviewer opinions are given due consideration, nevertheless, authors may defend their work against reviewer comments with sufficient evidence.

The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision regarding manuscript acceptance or rejection.
