Screening of the granular materials on the vibrational sieves with pneumatic aid

ABSTRACT
Screening of granular materials on the sieves is one of the basic operations realized in agricultural machinery. The screening process can be intensified by optimal selection of construction parameters of the separator as well as by the introduction of the water and air streams. In this work the possibility of increase of the screening intensity by applying the air flow directed from the top to bottom side of the sieve was experimentally approved. However, increasing of the vibrational acceleration of the sieve surface is needed in such case.
