The capillary suction time (CST) measurement for the estimation of water passing rate by examined waste based on capillary suction forces of filtration paper have been described. The capillary suction time measurement is used in the first place to estimate influence of conditioning agents on examined waste. The CST measurement to estimate optimum doses of three polyelectrolytes in order to support the process of water passing rate by municipal aerobic sewage sludge has been also presented in the work.
