Comparative study of prices in the Polish and German organic fruit and vegetable market

ABSTRACT
The paper presents the findings of comparative study of organic fruit and vegetable prices in Poland and German)'. The] comparison concerns the prices of fruit and vegetables gained from organic shop quotations in the area of the city of Poznań and retail prices in Germany. Basing on the obtained data and final conclusions, pricing trends in the fruit and vegetable segment, i.e. the segment in which the price relations are beneficial for Poland, can be shown. This creates an opportunity for using the comparative advantage in increasing their exports.
