In organic cultivation of potatoes, rye and buckwheat expenditure of energy was higher of 21.4% for crop production. At the crop rotation: potatoes-rye-buckwheat, organic farming of rye was most effective from the point of view of energy in comparison with conventional production. Definitely inefficient - buckwheat. 17.3% less of energy were used in organic cultivation of rye to produce unit yield than in conventional systems. The cultivation of buckwheat, uses 75% of energy more. Analysis of energy consumption efficiency in crop production in organic farming, should not be limited to a single crop.
