Internet telephony VoIP as the alternative method in the communication for agricultural companies

ABSTRACT
The aim of the work was to show modern uses of internet telephony called popularly VoIP or IP telephony. The article describes methods of the compression of sound and possibility of the use on the basis of currently used SIP protocol. The implementation of this technology in the small agricultural company was also presented. Popularisation of this method of the communication can be the cheap alternative for stationary or cellular telephony. It requires fast internet connections and the high quality of transmission. As it was showed in the work the technology VoIP can be applied in small and average companies in the agricultural sector.
