ABSTRACT
In the last decade, much attention has been given to the reduction of machine vibrations. As a result, many innovative ideas have been proposed, and new devices have been designed. Among those, magnetoreological (MR) fluid devices are the most promising devices for structural control of engineering structures. MR dampers have the capability to provide large controllable forces damping and dynamically change their properties to accommodate varying loading conditions. MRF dampers are among the most promising devices for active seat suspension vibrations control.
