Storage time and moisture content of some waste material fractions (chaff, cobs> in seed corn production on their heat value were analyzed. The heat value was determined on fractions which direct left the industrial plant and after three and six month of storage on the heap. The heat value was determined for three levels of moisture content: 15, 20 and 25 %. It was found that the heat value increased with lenghthen time of storage and decreased with increase of moisture content.
