The influence of the state of the surface on properties of coats after metal spraying

ABSTRACT
The paper presents the results of the research of the influence of the surface layer state (before spraying) on the adhesion of the regenerative coatings after the warm spraying in gas-powder method. The quality of the coating was evaluated by measurement roughness parameters, the hardness and the adhesion. The results have shown, that the shot peening causes the sharp increasing of the adhesion of the regenerative coating, especially with the ground coat.
