ABSTRACT
The aim of the study was to verify the efficacy of probiotic preparations enhancing plant production. For the purpose of this study the adopted measure of efficacy for these preparations was their effect on health of cereal plants in comparison to that of cereals grown using chemicals. Field trials were conducted in the years 2006-2012 on total area of 200 ha, on the farm belonging to Urszula Kosakowska and Kazimierz Kosakowski, in Raduszyn near Murowana Goślina. The effect of probiotic preparations was tested on different cultivars (both spring and winter) of rye (Secale L.), wheat (Triticum L.), barley (Hordeum L.) and oat (Avena L.). Analyses showed high efficacy of biological preparations EmFarma and Ema5 in health protection of cereal plants. In the course of analyses a more effective action of these preparations was also found at the simultaneous application of EmFarma Plus onto soil.
