Accidents in farms with participation of machines and equipment for agricultural production

ABSTRACT
In the year 2008 in Poland, there were reported 8114 accidents with participation of machines and equipment for agricultural production. The most of all accidents happened with participation of tractors - 1539, then transport trailers - 1475, and circular saws - 1212. A large amount of accidents happened due to the use of electric tools - 581 and chain saws - 554. As many as 95 accidents resulted in injured parties' deaths.
